July 20th, 2009 by admin

When it comes to watching your child, without being able to see them how are you really supposed to tell if everything’s all right. Most baby monitors only cover audio monitoring, but the Graco Imonitor video allows you to literally keep an eye on your newborn. Some infants don’t make sounds as much as they do make grasping motions when they’re hungry, and the Imonitor lets you see just that. Wouldn’t you rather be able to? This is definitely one of the best baby monitors for video, though there are others that have this feature as well. You pay a bit more for the feature, but it’s worth it.

When you are considering adding a child to your family and you have medical or personal reasons for wanting the child to be male or female, then you have some options that make your chances greater of having your child of choice. Your budget and needs determine your Medical Plan choice

December 4th, 2008 by admin

Health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance and vision insurance are all types of Medical Plans.  There are even some plans that offer a combination of some or all of these insurances. Your budget and need for these insurances will guide you to select the best plan. If you have the resources your best bet is to get a combination package that covers a few or all of the aforementioned insurances. If you are on a small budget you may want to look into discount plans . These will be lower payments and not have a precondition clause but they will require you to pay a certain percentage of each medical appointment and need. This is a serious decision so be aware of all your options.

An Amazing Race Themed Party…You’ll Definitely be a Winner!

November 6th, 2008 by admin

Turning sweet sixteen does not mean that you have to plan a formal, expensive, fancy party that you and your guests have to get all dressed up for.  For any guy or girl, a fun alternative to a stuffy themed party would be to have an “Amazing Race” themed birthday party that will have your guests completing tasks, reading clues and racing for the finish line!  It is best to keep your party down to under twelve people.  Put them in pairs of two.  When the race starts, each team will read a set of clues and follow the directions accordingly.  You can have designated people to hand out the clues and tasks at the proper destinations.  The team who crosses the finish line first wins!  This is not your typical sweet sixteen birthday party, but it will be one that will keep your guests active and talking about repeating it again on your seventeenth birthday party!

September 25th, 2008 by admin

Choosing a family vacation destination can be a difficult thing, especially when you have little ones tagging along. So how far can you comfortably travel by car with children under ten? Check out our chart to find out what the maximum time of comfortable car time is for each age group . . .•    3 and under – 3 hours•    3 to 5 – 4 hours •    5 to 7 – 5 to 6 hours•    8-10 – 8 hoursEach child’s breaking point is different. These are just general guidelines to help you pan out a good choice destination. Remember, it is unreasonable to believe a child can sit still for hours and hours at a time. Expect a few “Are we there yet’s” and maybe even a tantrum in between. Whatever you choose, be prepared and make sure to pack plenty of snacks, drinks and activities for your little ones to ensure they won’t get bored or fussy.
